How to Filter Adult Sites in Yahoo! Using OpenDNS

Adult sites can be very disturbing particularly for minor kids. So if you want to filter adult sites in Yahoo using OpenDNS, follow this procedure. The procedure does not ensure you 100% filtration, but is effective in blocking most of the inappropriate content on the Internet.

If you are a parent and want to keep children and adolescents away from porn content, then check "Pornography," "Sexuality" and "Tasteless" keywords instead selecting "Adult Themes", because it will block all medical information on Sexual diseases.

1. Go to settings

2. Click on 'Content filtering'>> Low>> Apply

3. It will filter Adult as well as Phishing sites

4. It may take a few minutes to set up filters

5. Click on Custom to filter a precise set of websites (Optional).

6. You can also block sites of various categories like Gambling, Chat, YouTube and P2P etc.

7. You just need to enter a domain or a sub domain and click on 'Add Domain'.

8. That is all you need to do, Setting 'Low' should have blocked adult sites

9. You may think to unlock a domain later on, simply check the list and click on Delete.
